What we left out, and why
Seven postings this week were tenders, Terms of Reference or individual consultant solicitations rather than employment vacancies. Those are procurement exercises run through bidding portals, and answering them as a jobseeker wastes your time. They included two Hargeisa Local Government consultancies under the Somali Urban Resilience Project, a UNDP fisheries review in Puntland, and needs-assessment work for ActionAid and Mercy Corps.
No ICT or human resources vacancies were advertised this week. If that is your field, nothing was missed — the market was quiet. The WHO health information systems post above is the closest thing to a technology role currently open.
